The vacancy

At Ballast Nedam International Projects, we focus on international projects related to hydraulic and civil engineering, including ports, bridges, water treatment plants, and complex buildings such as hospitals and airports. Our headquarters in Nieuwegein serve as the starting point for future projects in various foreign locations, particularly in Africa, the Caribbean, and Scandinavia. Each project presents unique local, logistical, and technical challenges.

Working collaboratively with our team, we develop sustainable, technically advanced, and commercially appealing solutions for our clients. Our goal is to execute these solutions from design to construction. Throughout this process, we address all relevant disciplines for our projects, including design, work methods, equipment, planning, procurement, logistics, contractual matters, budgeting, organization, quality, safety, and environmental sustainability.

As a member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to innovative, sustainable, and robust solutions and their successful implementation. During your internship with us, you’ll be involved in the tender team for these international projects. While our primary base is in Nieuwegein, we’re open to occasional travel abroad. You are looking for an internship in civil engineering or technical management;
You are fluent in English, speaking Dutch is an advantage;
You live in the area of Utrecht.
